Plain language, no legalese. This describes exactly what GoNxt Journal stores and why.

What we store

We store the trades you log — ticker, asset type, direction, entry and exit prices, position size, fees, setup type, emotional tags, notes and any chart screenshot URL you paste. We also store a minimal profile (your email address and display name) so we can sign you in and label your account.

Your Anthropic API key

If you choose to connect the AI Risk Coach, your personal Anthropic API key is encrypted before it is written to our database and is never sent to your browser again. It is decrypted only on our server, at the moment you ask the coach a question, and is used exclusively to call Anthropic on your behalf. We never use it for any other purpose and you can remove it at any time from Settings.

Data isolation

Every record is tied to your user account and protected by row-level security. Trade data is never shared between users, and no other account on this platform can read your journal, your notes or your API key.

Third parties

We use a managed database and authentication provider to host your data, and Anthropic to generate AI analysis when you request it. We do not sell your data or use it to train any model.

Deleting your data

You can delete individual trades at any time from the Trade Log, and remove your API key from Settings. To delete your account and everything attached to it, contact the GoNxt Marketing team.
